The Beers & Gordon Law $2,500 Scholarship 2024 – Ends March 31st 2024

Beers & Gordon, P.A., a Seminole County Personal Injury Law Firm, is pleased to offer a $2,500 scholarship to a Seminole County High School Senior planning to attend an accredited school, college, or university in the Fall of 2024. The scholarship program is aimed at students who have demonstrated a commitment to both their studies and the community. Attorneys, David Beers and Jim Gordon, the founders of Beers & Gordon, P.A., strongly believe that the best way to impact the world is service to the community. The entire firm is committed to serving their community, and we would like to help a student who exemplifies strong leadership and service within their community.

Award and Key Dates

Scholarship of $2,500
The scholarship check will be made out to the winner’s school.
Application and supporting material must be submitted by midnight on March 31, 2024
The winner will be determined by a committee of individuals outside of the firm
The scholarship winner will be notified on or prior to April 21, 2024

Eligibility Requirements

Must have a 3.3 GPA or higher
Must be a legal resident of the United States and reside in the state of Florida.
Must have contributed at least 75 hours of volunteer service throughout high school.
Must attend a public or private high school in Seminole County.

Essay Prompt

Submit a 350 to 500-word essay on the following topic(s). Describe a situation where you served as a community leader. A community is not limited to just a hometown or where you live; it can be your town, your school, a club, or any other community organization.

What have you done or contributed to lead your community toward a stronger and better future?
In what ways will your education help you continue to serve as a community leader?

By submitting a scholarship application, the applicant agrees to allow Beers & Gordon, P.A. to use the content of the submission, the applicant’s name, the name of the college or university, the essay and/or picture(s) of any of the above on the firm’s websites and other marketing materials.

All scholarship applications must be received by March 31, 2024, with no exceptions
