Scholarships at RCC

Each academic year, RCC awards scholarships to help students afford an education. Thank you to the generous support of our donors, over $540,000 was awarded to 350 students for the 2023-2024 academic year. The average scholarship amount per student is $1,561 which is approximately 30% of full-time tuition and fees! One application is all that is required. The scholarship application is open annually from October 1 through February 19.

2 Easy Steps to Make Your Tuition Affordable

  1. Complete your FAFSA: Many, but not all, of the RCC scholarships are need-based. Even if you do not think you will qualify for a need-based scholarship, it is highly recommended that you complete a safe, confidential FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to help match you with all the scholarships for which you may be eligible. The RCC School Code 009160.
  2. Submit your scholarship application: Scholarships can be combined with federal and state financial aid or used alone to cover the cost of RCC tuition and fees. Click here for tips on how to apply!

Establishing a Scholarship

Scholarships at RCC have been established through the generosity of individuals, organizations, and corporations to recognize outstanding performances and assist students in pursuing quality education, debt-free. Because we believe no one should be denied access to higher education due to financial hardship, we continually seek private support for our scholarships.

Types of Scholarships

  • Endowment: $25,000 or more funds a scholarship in perpetuity through generated income
  • Annually-recurring: Scholarship is funded each year by the donor(s)
  • One-time only: Scholarship is funded for one year by the donor(s)
