Students must submit an application and essay. Selection based on creativity, originality, detail, clear and articulate writing, and student's ability to formulate an opinion.
Eligibility: Applicants must be outstanding young women passionate about solving problems through innovation and technology. Students must have also excelled in the Girls Who Code program and in their high school academic performance.

Outstanding Undergraduate Researchers Award Program Up to $1,500

Eligibility: Applicants must be undergraduates at a North American college or university and must have conducted some type of computing research. Nominations from two faculty members and a recommendation from the chair of the applicant's home department are also required. Preference is given to undergraduate seniors. Selection is based on the quality of computing research, academic achievement and community involvement.

Eligibility: Applicants must be high school seniors in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Guam, Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Wake or Midway Islands or the Marianas. U.S. citizens attending foreign schools are also eligible. Applicants must complete college entrance exams and complete individual research projects and provide a report on the research.
