    Eligibility: Applicants must be in their third year of study in a four-year program or their fourth year of study in a five-year program at an engineering school in New York State. They must major in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, structural engineering, civil engineering, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, engineering technology or surveying. They must plan to make New York State their home and/or career area. Selection is based on work experience (25 percent), college activities and recommendations (15 percent), essay (30 percent) and GPA (30 percent).

  • AISES Intel Scholarship

    Eligibility: Applicants must be AISES members who are also members of an enrolled citizen or a decedent of an enrolled citizen of a federal or state recognized American Indian Tribe or Alaska Native Village; or Native Hawaiian or decedent from a Native Hawaiian; or Pacific Islander or decedent from Pacific Islander; or Indigenous person of Canada. They must also be enrolled as full-time undergraduate or graduate students at a four-year academic institution or at a two-year institution working towards an academic degree. Students must major in one of the following fields: chemistry, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, electrical and computer engineering, mechanical engineering, neuroscience, physics, chemical engineering or material engineering or science. The minimum GPA requirement is 3.0. Selection is based upon the quality of the application.

  • American Chemical Society Scholars Program

    Eligibility: Applicants must be African American, Hispanic/Latino or American Indian and graduating high school seniors or college freshmen, sophomores or juniors enrolled full-time at an accredited institution. Students must major in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering or a chemically-related science and plan to work in a chemistry-related field. Those entering pre-med programs or pursuing pharmacy degrees are not eligible. A minimum GPA of 3.0 or "B" or better with high academic achievement in chemistry or science is required. Students must also demonstrate financial need through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
