DAAD/AICGS Research Fellowship Program Up to $4,725 monthly stipend

Eligibility: Applicants must have a Ph.D. or be enrolled in a Ph.D. program, hold German citizenship, be non-Germans who work/live permanently in Germany or work at one of the DAAD Centers around the globe. The grant provides a research stay of two-four months at AICGS.

Fellowships for Regular Program in Greece $11,500 plus housing, board and fees
Sponsor: American School of Classical Studies at Athens
Eligibility: Applicants must have completed at least one to two years of graduate study and must take exams in ancient Greek language, history and either literature or art and archaeology. Students must be able to read French, German, ancient Greek and Latin with an ability to also read modern Greek and Italian considered helpful. Applicants must be graduate students who are preparing for an advanced degree in classical and ancient Mediterranean studies or a related field. The fellowships provide study in Athens or Greece for nine months and may not be used for costs at the student's home institution.
Laddie Scholarship for Women in the Arts or Humanities Varies
Sponsor: Dominican University
Eligibility: Applicants must be incoming female freshman students to qualify for the award. Students must be a recipient of either a Presidential or Dean's Scholarship to be eligible for full tuition, room and board. Students must also file a FAFSA each year if awarded.
Eligibility: Applicants must be students at Pacific University. Students must be learners of Spanish, Japanese, French, German and Chinese, as well as heritage or native speakers of those languages who demonstrate a dedication to study of their language, literature and culture.
