    Eligibility: Applicants must graduate from Hermann High School preferred, or graduate from Owensville, Wellsville Middletown, Montgomery, N Callaway, New Bloomfield, Fulton or S Callaway High School with a minimum 2.5 GPA or above. Students must have completed two years of college credits (minimum 50 hours) and be committed to obtaining a bachelor's degree in forestry, plant or soil/environmental science.

  • Blades of Green Scholarship Fund
    April 22

    Eligibility: Applicants must be undergraduate or graduate level students attending an institution of higher learning full-time and must be pursuing a degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, environmental studies, plant sciences, botany, green technology or a related field. Applicants will need to submit a 350-500 word letter of intent describing desired career plans after graduation and what inspired you to pursue this career path.

  • Homer and Mildred Crank Scholarship
    January 12
    Sponsor: Community Foundation of Bartholomew County

    Eligibility: Applicants must be graduates of a Bartholomew County high school who plan to study environmental management, forestry, horticulture, landscape design or plant science. Selection is based on the strength of the overall application.

  • Iowa Interstate Railroad Ltd. FFA Scholarship

    Sponsor: National FFA Organization

    Eligibility: Applicants must be pursuing a major in one of the following fields: agronomy, plant breeding and genetics, economics, finance, pulp and paper technology, transportation, crop science, plant science or agricultural business management. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required. Applicants must live in Iowa and plan to attend a college in Iowa or Illinois. Preference is given to applicants with a specific interest in transportation. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

  • Mabel Mayforth Scholarship
    February 1
    Sponsor: Federated Garden Clubs of Vermont Inc.

    Eligibility: Applicants must be Vermont residents who are college juniors, seniors or graduate students and must major horticulture, landscape, design, conservation, forestry, agronomy, plant pathology or biology with a special interest in plants, ecology and allied subjects. They must be full-time students at an accredited institution with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Previous winners may reapply.
