    Eligibility: Applicants must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons and Alberta residents who attend a post-secondary institution in Alberta, are enrolled full-time in the second or subsequent year of study with an emphasis on crop production and/or crop processing technology. Students must not have received this scholarship before. Selection is based on academic achievement in the previous year of study and the overall strength of the application.

  • Mabel Mayforth Scholarship
    $1,000

    Sponsor: Federated Garden Clubs of Vermont Inc.

    Eligibility: Applicants must be Vermont residents who are college juniors, seniors or graduate students and must major horticulture, landscape, design, conservation, forestry, agronomy, plant pathology or biology with a special interest in plants, ecology and allied subjects. They must be full-time students at an accredited institution with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Previous winners may reapply.

  • South Texas Unit Scholarship

    Eligibility: Applicants must be students who are studying agronomy, horticulture, botany, or a closely-related discipline at an accredited four-year college or university. Students must be either permanent residents of Texas or attending an accredited college or university in Texas. Students must have completed two full years of college and be entering their junior or senior year of studies.
